Welcome to Metropolitan Serenity House We only accept 16 young men at a time, insuring the highest quality of treatment with the maximum amount of individualized care and attention. For the past 18 years, Metropolitan Serenity House has been the leader in customized treatment based on clients' needs for success. Our mission is to help your son become sober through a unique residential addiction and behavioral treatment program. Each clients' program is determined by his specific needs and is built on the following pillars: *Teaching abstinence in a real life setting *Encouraging our clients to make specific plans for their futures, including education *Providing several options for continued care upon graduation, including extended living with other graduates along with staff supervision, group therapy and individual counseling sessions from primary counselors
CARES is an acronym for creating a recovery environment for success. This program offers long-term treatment and housing for men that are dually diagnosed. 24-hour staffing, medication regulation, nursing, counseling and psychiatric services. We employ 25 staff members with extensive experience in addiction and provide services to only 16 young men at a time. We also provide services for men up to 39 years old in separate housing. Our staff includes a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse, counselors, family therapist, recreation director, educators and experienced addiction technicians that support all levels of our programs.

If one of our graduates proceeds into the world and continues to live clean and sober (long enough to show a commitment to sobriety) and then for some reason has a reversion, he can return for 30 days (free of charge) to our Alumni Relapse Prevention Program (ARPP). There he can begin again with the support of the Serenity House staff. He may choose to continue there for up to 18 months if he so desires.
