"Enclosed with this letter is an announcement for you of our son's graduation. You were right at the top of his list (and mine) of folks to share this great news with. I am also enclosing copies of some awards he received recently. He was named the school's most outstanding student in both Physics and Journalism. That's an interesting combination. He also won first prize in the state for school newspaper layout design. He was the design editor of the school paper this year, and really found a wonderful use for his computer skills and his artistic talents. I am enclosing some copies of his school paper.  You and Metropolitan Serenity House have a major role in all of this, and we wanted to share this news with you.”

He celebrated 5 years clean and sober on January 5, 2002. He is currently a senior in college majoring in History and Economics. He qualified for the Dean's List in the Fall of 2001 and Spring 2002. He was recognized at the University Research Symposium for Outstanding Research Paper in History for 2002. He will be graduating in December 2003. THANK YOU, Serenity House.”
